Mechanical Fitter – HV Substations
- Location: West and South Yorkshire
- Rates: £30 an hour (Ltd) (CIS) (Perm opportunities)
- Duration: ongoing contract (5-year framework)
Turner Lovell is recruiting for one of the UK’s leading infrastructure and utility providers, who are building up their fitter team to join the Northern Power Grid framework projects working on the asset replacement and maintenance of 11kV-132kV substations.
Northern Power Grid Authorisations are highly desired.
Requirements:
- Tickets required for the position: CCNSG – Safety Passport, Manual Handling, CSCS, Fire Safety. DNO Authorisation
- Further qualification (HNC, HND, Degree, apprenticeship, NVQ), Wiring Regulations certification – desirable
- Experience working on a project in a H&S critical environment
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Willingness to learn, communicate and uphold SHEQ / other required standards, whilst on site
- Knowledge as well as working experience of fitting regulations (Fitter)
