Turner Lovell are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join an EPC Principal Contractor, on multiple renewable energy projects based in East Anglia. The client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead, coordinate and oversee the construction of the M&E construction and installation activities. This will include interface with the client to gain approvals and updates, supporting the procurement activity and leading a team to ensure site activity follows agreed time frames, budget, and quality.

Key duties:

  • To project manage two sites concurrently, within the renewable energy industry (in the mechanical/electrical phases 132kV – 400kV).
  • Lead all client interface activities and ownership of deliverables in relation to the installation, and commissioning of electrical scopes of work.
  • Ensuring a high standard of Health and Safety is maintained throughout the project duration, liaising with the EHS department when required
  • Provide stakeholder and subcontractor management and communicate detailed project updates to the client and internal organisation.
  • Ensure the contractual agreements are adhered to throughout the project and mitigate any issues

Requirements:

  • 3 + years Project Management within the UK renewable energy industry / construction industry
  • Experience working on UK substations, 33kV, 66kV, 132kV, 275kV, 400kV.
  • 4 years Project Management experience on projects +£5m
  • Willing to commute to site on a regular basis. Estimation of 2-3 days on site.
  • Project Management related qualification or training is desirable – APM, PRINCE2 or PMI – desirable
  • Proven experience with stakeholder management, commercial management and client interfacing
  • Valid CSCS or CCNSG or EUSR
