Operation & Maintenance Expert (O&M) – HV Transformers

Turner Lovell are currently recruiting for an astute expert with experience in Transformers and transmission grid maintenance. Our client is a leading and innovative electricity and power generation consultancy providing advice and expertise internationally. They are building a team that will provide expert O&M advise to TSOs across the Middle East.
The ideal candidate should have a broad expertise in asset management and maintenance activities for high voltage grid infrastructure. Furthermore, the candidate should have a testing (hands on) background in order to advise the client in the most efficient ways to operate and maintain transmission assets while coaching the client's existing maintenance crews on best methods.
Duties include:
- Supporting the client in asset inspection and testing to evaluate the assets conditions.
- Following up with recommendation on repair and failure while providing preventive and reactive maintenance activities for Transformers assets and associated equipment.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (including TSOs and client's maintenance crews) on all grid or equipment matters.
The Profile:
- At least 5 to 10 years’ experience in Transformers
- Previous experience with a TSO or DNO a plus and strong hands-on testing and asset engineering a must
- Experience on the transmission Grid in EU or America.
- Should be a subject matter expert.
