Sales Manager – Electrical Maintenance

Location: Remote, Ireland

Scope of Work: A new role in a growing sales team that will manage incoming enquiries and sales leads, as well as driving proactive sales outreach to target clients for electrical maintenance and equipment management services with key clients across Ireland.

Turner Lovell is recruiting a Sales Manager to join a global leader in sustainable energy and power grid technologies in Ireland, offering a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join the leader in their specialism. You will join an established and busy sales team to play your part in maximising the potential opportunities for the business in the market. This will involve a mix of warm account management and proactive sales outreach work, so you will build strong customer relationships, identify new market opportunities, and ensure a seamless sales process aligned to the business strategy.

Your key responsibilities in the role will include:

  • Identify the key business drivers of the customer's business and business environment and interpret the impact and opportunity.
  • Develop sales strategies for the accounts by understanding and supporting the development of the customer's business and long-term plans.
  • Analyse installed base and identify sales opportunities whilst supporting customers operation and maintenance plans and extending the life cycle of products
  • Understand opportunities for developing the circular economy and upgrades as well as digitalisation and data management
  • Lead the development and implementation of the account plans to include designing the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, prioritizing the opportunities, identifying a target for each Business Unit / Product Group, revenue, and growth for the account and long terms relationship with the customer.

The ideal profile is someone who has:

  • Demonstrable experience of managing customer relationships and a proven track record of developing accounts to increase lifetime value.
  • Proven record of driving business development strategies to achieve business growth.
  • Extensive experience in leading and / or delivering complex solution-based opportunities.
  • Excellent customer and stakeholder management skills, up to C-level.
  • Well-developed problem-solving and analytical abilities; excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person.
  • Sales experience, preferably negotiating and managing large value orders within a technical environment.
  • Awareness of the commercial impact of technical decisions.
