Civil Site Manager

Turner Lovell are recruiting for an international EPC contractor who deliver multiple high-profile renewable energy projects throughout the UK. We are recruiting a Civil Site Manager, with proven experience working from pre-construction to completion of civil works on renewable energy/ £20m+ civil construction projects across the UK.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, manage subcontractors, drive safety standards, provide leadership to internal resources and demonstrate excellent communication skills to all key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- To manage site personnel, subcontractors, and general works on site, for civil construction scope of work
- Carry out site inductions, Tool Box Talks & Daily Briefings.
- Produce & maintain Site Specific Risk & Method Statements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Ensure quality control measures are implemented throughout the project
- Maintain a high standard of documentation and records of project activities/labour including a site diary
Requirements:
- Must have SMSTS, and CSCS, TWC, HSG47, First Aid.
- Proven track record of UK site management preferably within large project (£50m+) environments.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Knowledge of current legislation relating to Health, Safety and Environment
- Skill in organising resources and establishing priorities
- Ability to work within budget and to programme timescales
